10 Minutes

Experience Learning through Play at our day camp. Located at the Esplanade, this multi-disciplinary camp covers 3 exciting workshops on Sports, Art and the Culinary Arts. Let your kids discover their inner confidence and self-expression!

BETA BOULDERS

Bouldering is a fun form of rock climbing that focuses on strength, balance, and problem-solving. In this 90-minute workshop, children will have the opportunity to navigate routes, ascend walls, and make new friends —all within a safe and supervised environment.

Our experienced instructors will provide a comprehensive introduction to bouldering and safety procedures, and emphasise teamwork and communication as campers encourage and support each other in their climbing endeavours.

Campers will encounter a variety of bouldering challenges, from beginner-friendly routes to more advanced puzzles. These challenges are designed to boost their confidence and problem-solving skills.

Boosts Confidence: Successfully navigating challenging climbs fosters a sense of accomplishment and confidence in our young adventurers.

Problem Solving: Bouldering encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills as campers figure out the best way to conquer each route.

Physical Activity: Bouldering is an excellent way for kids to stay active and healthy while having fun.

Social Interaction: Campers will make new friends and create lasting memories as they work together to conquer bouldering challenges.

PALETTE PLAY

An hour-long acrylic art workshop for kids under the guidance of Teacher Vanessa. Kids can bring their little masterpieces home with them.

Creativity and Self-Expression: Acrylic painting encourages children to tap into their creativity and express themselves through art. They can explore their imagination and translate their thoughts and feelings onto the canvas.

Color Recognition: Kids learn about colors, shades, and how they blend together. They gain a better understanding of color theory, which can be valuable in various aspects of life.

Patience and Focus: Acrylic painting requires patience and the ability to concentrate on details. Kids learn to take their time and stay focused on their work, which can transfer to other areas of life.

Emotional Expression: Painting can be a therapeutic outlet for emotions. Kids can use art to express their feelings, whether they're happy, sad, or somewhere in between.

TART-ISTRY

A 45-minute workshop where your kids build a beautiful fruit tart under the careful guidance of our head chef Joei from A Beta Cafe. They can bring their creations home to share with the family.

Sensory Exploration: Touching, smelling, and tasting different fruits engage multiple senses, contributing to sensory exploration and awareness.

Fine Motor Skills: Precise placement of fruit slices and other toppings requires fine motor skills. This activity helps improve hand-eye coordination and dexterity, which are essential for various tasks in life.

Basic Culinary Skills: Fruit tart decorating peaks their interest in Culinary Arts and introduces kids to basic culinary skills. These skills can serve as a foundation for future cooking and baking endeavours.

Healthy Eating Habits: Working with fresh fruits encourages kids to become more interested in healthy food choices. It's an excellent way to introduce them to a variety of fruits and their flavours, potentially expanding their palate.

Sense of Accomplishment: Completing a beautifully decorated fruit tart can give kids a sense of accomplishment and boost their self-esteem. It shows them that they can create something impressive with their own hands.
